Microsoft SkyDrive Information

Home   *   Index

The Microsoft SkyDrive allows you to securely store information in the "Cloud."
Basically, what that means is you store files offsite on a remote server.
As such, files you store, such as documents, pictures, and music, is then
available to others as well as yourself.

Microsoft has added a bonus benefit in that Office files such as Microsoft
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files can be opened in the SkyDrive (Cloud)
Using Microsoft Web versions of those applications.

Though the Cloud versions of Word, Excel, etc. are condensed programs,
they contain most of the functions many of us use every day. For college
students, the Cloud-based Office apps are very useful.

If you already have a Microsoft Hotmail or MSN account, then you already have what you need to get started.

The links below will take you to the Microsoft SkyDrive page.
From there, you can create a new SkyDrive account or login
with your existing SkyDrive (Live) credentials.
